SSC GD Constable Vacancy, Salary & Basic Allowance

Staff Selection Commission has released around 24146 vacancies this year. There is a provisional number of vacancies. This commission, working under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released vacancies to fill constable posts in various forces of the Central Government. This includes BSF, CAPF, CRPF, SSB, CISF etc.

The selected candidate will be given a gross salary of Rs 23,527. It also includes other basic allowances that all government employees get depending on their rank. This amount includes transport allowance of Rs 1224, house rent allowance of Rs 2538 and dearness allowance of Rs 438. However, there will be a deduction for pension, CGHS and CGEGIS which is Rs 2369.
