Jagran correspondent, Ayodhya. Shri Ram has a deep connection with the Sun God, he belongs to the same dynasty which was started by the Sun God. On Wednesday, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, Shri Ram's relationship with his ancestors was defined afresh, when the rays of the visible deity Diwakar, roaming from the upper floor to the ground floor in the divinely grand temple, adorned the forehead of Ramlala in the afternoon.
Millions of eyes were filled with happiness. Every pore was filled with excitement. The eyes of crores of Ram devotees were busy saving this wonderful, supernatural and unforgettable moment. Some saw this rod being present there, while many saw it on TV.
The impossible task became possible due to the efforts of scientists
Earlier it was believed that Ramlala's Surya Tilak would be possible only after the construction of all three floors of the temple, but due to the efforts of the engineers of the National Building Research Institute, the spirit of 'Shubhasya Speedyam' came to fruition and Ramlala's Surya Tilak was installed on the ground floor on Wednesday. It became possible only.
This was not very easy, because the direction and angle of the Sun had to be coordinated according to the movement of the Earth and the rays had to be sent from the upper level to the forehead of Ramlala through equipment. Ultimately the scientists succeeded and at the predetermined time the sun rays reached Ramlala's forehead and were reflected in the form of a 75 mm long tilak. Seeing this scene the devotees started giggling like children. Children, old people, women all were in the same mood.
Ramlala was given new festive clothes
Well, there was a festive atmosphere right from the Mangala Aarti in the morning. Ramlala was given auspicious bath and made to wear new specially prepared festive clothes. Fifty-six offerings were offered to Ramlala. These dishes were prepared with precision in Karsevakpuram itself.
Devotees received coriander leaves
The devotees coming out were presented with coriander leaves and other prasad. There was competition among the devotees to get the Prasad. A large number of people also watched the live telecast of the birth anniversary including Mahamastakabhishek under the sun rays on the LED screens installed at various places.
