Speaking to reporters, he said that the government is taking steps to introduce new arrangements for public darshan at Jagannath temple from January 1.
He said, “Necessary arrangements are being made. The necessary work will be completed by December 27 or 28. New arrangements will be started on an experimental basis for two days on December 30 and 31.” He said that the new darshan system will be fully implemented from January 1.
The minister said that under this step, special arrangements are also being made for women, children, disabled persons and senior persons visiting the temple.
