New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi said during his election rally in Tripura on Wednesday that if Congress had been in power at this time, mobile bills in the state would have been Rs 5,000 per month. The PM said, “Congress had adopted the ‘Loot East’ policy, while BJP changed it into Act East policy. Earlier, mobile towers did not function properly in the state, but now work is being done to improve 5G connectivity. It is the Modi government that has reduced the mobile bill to around ₹400-₹500 per month. If Congress had been in power, your mobile bill would have been ₹4,000 to ₹5,000.”
During his address, PM Modi further said that if his government comes back, three crore new houses will be built for the poor in the country. 'Today Modi's guarantee is running in the entire country. The Northeast itself is a witness to Modi's guarantee. BJP has made the North-East, which Congress had given only problems, a source of possibilities.

The Prime Minister said, 'When he came in 2014, he brought with him hopes, when he came again in 2019, he brought with him confidence, in 2024 when Modi will be here, he will bring with him guarantees. Modi's guarantee means 'guarantee of fulfillment of the guarantee'. The PM said, 'We are focusing on increasing connectivity in the North-East. Our government has provided free gas connections to more than 3 lakh women. We have also started Eklavya Model Schools to educate children of tribal communities.
PM Narendra Modi said, 'It is our good fortune to live here in the North-East, where the sun's rays first touch India. The sun's rays are a symbol of India's bright future. Developed Tripura is moving forward with the commitment of developed India.
