Union Minister Anupriya Patel strongly criticized the Congress leaders for allegedly doing politics on Operation Sindoor on Sunday and said that the issue is related to the security and respect of the country and should not be politicized. Anupriya Patel said that countries where the delegation of our MPs went, has not only appreciated India’s policy against terrorism, but has also clearly stated that they are standing with India on the terrorism front. Patel claimed that the world has recognized India’s strong reaction to terrorism. He said, “India has taken a big and well thought out action against terrorism. Today all the countries of the world are affected and appreciated it. We need to stand together on the subject of national security.”
He also emphasized the importance of unity and nationalism, especially during international visits. Patel said that especially when we go to foreign soil, we should keep our opinion in the same way that our government has fought with terrorism by increasing the pride of our country. India started Operation Sindoor on 7 May and attacked nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir in response to a fierce terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir last month. 26 people were killed in this attack.
