- Written Exam: It is a multiple choice objective type exam consisting of four papers. Each paper is of 2 hours duration and carries a maximum of 100 marks.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the written examination are called for PET which consists of physical tests like running, long jump, high jump and shot put.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for PET are called for document verification. In this stage, the educational and other relevant documents of the candidate are verified.
